I did not find Hope Cemetery in Parker County. 1. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txparker/ 2. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txparker/cemetery/index.htm 3. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=csb&CSst=46 4. http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~drycreek/cem_info.htm I would try these web sites that are part os www.rootsweb.ancestry.com. Are you familiar with this web site? It has the best links to states, counties, towns, and cemeteries listings that I know of. The top link is the main web site for Parker County. There is a link here to lookups that may be valuable. Do you know the highway that Hope Cemetery is near? What town or community? What church? Any other landmark? I did not find Hope Cemetery on the second cemetery list above, but that does not mean it does not exist. Perhaps it does or did have a different formal or informal name. I also tried the www.findagrave.com search for cemetery name by state and county in the 3rd link above. Hopefully someone else can lead you directly to the answer you are trying to find. _________________________________________________________________ Stay up to date on your PC, the Web, and your mobile phone with Windows Live. http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/msnnkwxp1020093185mrt/direct/01/

Shirley, the family is listed in Prec 4 on the 1880 census, and moved there in about the prior 5 yrs. If you look at the families adjacent, you will find the Ruel Earp family, for one. One way to pindown the location is using the land records..either to find a deed for your family, OR you might find that a neighbor was an "original grantee", in which case, the land can show on a land owner map. --- On Wed, 2/18/09, Shirley Garcia <tgarcia6@stx.rr.com> wrote: From: Shirley Garcia <tgarcia6@stx.rr.com> Subject: Re: [TXWISE] towns in southern wise co. He lived in McIntosh County, OK, and then was in an "old soldier's home" around Sulphur, OK in Murray County when he died. As for dates, he was in the Civil War. > > If you need more specifics, I can get my information and write another time.> > Thanks for your help.> > > > Sherrie Flud > From: earlhmomorris@hotmail.com> To: txwise@rootsweb.com> Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2009 15:15:29 -0600> Subject: Re: [TXWISE] (Picture removed by List)> > > Sherrie, where in Okla are you looking ?
