Annie O. Moody married a McDaniel in Wise Co. I would like to find the full name of this McDaniel Thanks for any help. Gerald Brinkley
Sherry, It may be that they were in Tarrant County TX with grandfather James Jonathan Youngblood. He shows up there in the 1870 census. He returned to Wise Co (1880 census) and died there in 1889 or so, buried in Hyde Cem. Just a thought. Doug
Edna, Thank you, yes I knew that. Callie is my great grandmother. What girls boarding schools were in that area? We were told they were sent to a boarding school to become teachers. Are there any school records for any of them, that you know of? I'm trying to find out anything I can about that family. I do have a picture of Mary, Callie, Minnie, and Abby as young ladies, probably taken in the late 1880s, but no data on where it was taken. Hi, Does anyone know where CALLIE CAROLINE, MARY LEAH, and ABBY GAIL YOUNGBLOOD were when the 1880 census was taken? I can find ANNIE and MINNIE YOUNGBLOOD, but not the others. Any ideas? Sherry

Lets just drop it and get back to genealogy. La Darla can put anything she wants to on the list. She helps so many people and all this has taken far more space than her short message. You ACED that one. Youre on the Honor Roll Thanks Bob

Hi Ozzy, Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know the site has helped. Keep watching, we are doing new census (typed, easier to read) lists. Best regards, La Darla Ozzylu2001 writes: Just wanted to thank you. Your site was very helpful in our search, particularly the cemetary section. Thanks again and keep up the good work. Thanks for all your thoughts about the public service message I posted today. Tomorrow is another day, so no more need be said on this subject. Con on guys, lets get back to Wise County "stuff". La Darla Listowner, Wise County, Texas
Thank you, La Darla.
Gosh everyone, Lets drop this matter, it's so trivial when you look at the big picture of what we're all facing now days. Peace to everyone. :)
Please understand, All family tree data is still free on the regular family tree system. It will continue to cost you nothing. All Ancestry is doing is charging for a new search engine that makes it easier to do your searches. I logged on to a non-subscribing ID and found all my stuff for free. Please check with Ancestry before doing anything drastic. Bob Evans
Questions - and this group is always so much help, I'm hoping that you know the answers! Since ancestry.com has decided to sell memberships which will include GED's that many of us have put online for the benefit of extended family - just wondering how others are planning to handle this situation - are you going to remove your submission or allow it to become a part of a paid membership. They are indicating that the GEDs on World Connect will still be free but my problem with this - is for how long? And will this lead eventually to Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com (which are now one and the same) publishing these "trees" on CD's to sell? Does anyone else have concerns?? And.........has anyone heard of any movements by the state researchers to donate to a fund to keep TexShare alive after July 1st - it would be a shame to lose this wonderful service. My local library has not heard anything about the state not funding it next year. Yes I agree. Let's put anything and everything that occurs to us on this site. That way it will not be of use to anyone. On Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at 07:12 PM, Veronica Stroud wrote: > Hear Hear! I'm sorry, but think this drug out long enough, feel the support for the group is warrented, and it has been presented, may we please get back to the list?
Hear Hear! I have to agree how very trivial when you look at the BIG PICTURE! There is far more to scream about then a fund raiser to support the Fire Department which these days most of them are volunteers! So next time your house or someone you knows house is on fire and the department doesn't have the funds to do their job you can be reminded that you were a plain ole stick in the mud! ----- Original Message ----- From: <SJR5996@aol.com> To: <TXWISE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2004 5:11 PM Subject: Re: [TXWISE-L] Lets support these GREAT GUYS!! > Gosh everyone, > Lets drop this matter, it's so trivial when you look at the big picture of > what we're all facing now days.
