    3. Perhaps you could go to Adobe's site while at the Museum's computer http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html and download the free reader. This will allow the computer at the Museum to read any document prepared with Acrobat, which is the most common graphic reader. And the reader is free! 3. If relatives or the funeral home did not report the death to the Social Security Administration, or if the individual died before 1962 (when the records were computerized) then they probably will not appear in this database. Therefore Mr. Dromgoole, who died in 1957 will not have a computerized/searchable record online. 2. Scott, this is all that it says in the cemetery listing and it is the only Dromgoole (Drumgole) in the entire county of Wise or at least that has headstones. If there were no headstones or they are long gone then it won't be listed in the book. Sorry! Julie

    3. Richard, Thanks for the info, but yes I did already have that. I was going to use that information and what little more I have to hopefully find some death certificates, or some kind of tax information or anything to try to get past the brick wall of this family disappearing. Seems they just appeared out of no-where in 1880. I know they're lurking in the shadows somewhere.
