    2. Billy, That is why I asked you why you would say that. I thought that maybe you didn't know what David Pitts contributed to the site so I was explaining what it was he did. I appreciate your stories just as much as I appreciate everything that David, LaDarla and Sue do for the site. I would hate to see you go. Consider the subject forgotten and please stay and tell us more about the old Wise Co. I would LOVE to hear some stories about Alvord (or Alvoid as I am told the locals call it) if you know of any! 3. Billy, everyone is entitled to make one mistake and I know you are strong in spirit and won't let one little mistake get you down. You know you are an asset to the Wise County website and have a lot to contribute. Please reconsider and stay with us. Everyone puts their foot in the their mouth once in a while and live to regret it. I know I do plenty of times but it just proves I am human. You have been so helpful in the past telling this list about folks and places in Wise County. Keep on keeping up enlightened. That is all I have to say. 3. Oh, stay with us on the Wise County list, Billy! You also give us some great information and stories of Wise County and Bridgeport. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake or two in life. Everyone on the list (including Dave) are of the forgiving type. We enjoy all working together and everyone's contributions. This is by far, the best list and group of people on any Rootsweb list. 2. Shirley, I agree and Billy, I don't really understand your comment? David Pitts has helped me more times than I can count. He even went to the library and got info for me on a death that I could not get and helped me to solve a mystery! His transcribing is invaluable as are La Darla's and Sue's. I enjoy reading posts by David Pitts. He is full of information and without him, we would not have some of the records that we now how on the Wise Co. site. So why would you, Billy Albritton make that kind of comment? Julie

    3. A lady I spoke with had an interesting way to use old family pictures with no names on them. When she finds someone who she thinks shares her family tree, she asks to share the old pictures even if they have no identifying information. If both families have the same pictures, or pictures with the same people in them, she feels that is an ironclad way to say the two families belong together. 3. I agree about David Pitts being helpful. I need all the help I can get and I'm certainly not driving the hundreds of miles to do it myself. So, Thank you David. If I can't use the information I just delete it. No big deal. Sometimes it makes a connection to a family member I might have been looking for. You never can tell when you just might luck into a helpful bit of information.
