Keith; Yes they went to Williamson County in 1859 and as far as I know they remained there. They moved from Vermillion County Indiana in 1859. They went to Florence with my Great-great grandparents and my great-aunt and uncle Wilson and Frances Pyle Bratton. My great-great-grandparents Robert and Martha Malone Pyle died in 1867 and are supposedly buried in Taylor, Texas. However it was not a town then, so I wonder if they may have been buried on the prairie. Thank you for your response! Ron Pyle Angels Camp, Ca. Date: Wednesday, May 17, 2000 8:11 AM Ron, do you know if they stayed in Wmson county? I'm not related to any Jones's that I know of from Williamson County (I haven't traced my Jones line back past 1932, yet...I've had more success with names like Oswalt and Fuchsen!). My Grandfather moved there in 1910 or so and lived there until the late 1930's. He can remember most anyone he ever met, and remembers a lot of the stories that his Dad told him of people he knew. If they or their family were there into the 20th century, he probably knew of them or their kin. I'll send this info to him and see what he comes up with. Keith, I am looking for a Mark Jones that married a Martha or Mariah Pyle in Georgetown in 1861 or there abouts. Any response would be appreciated. Ron Pyle Angels Camp, Ca.
