Jackie, Linda, Jane, Pardon me for joining in on your conversation, but this combination of surnames really got my attention. Leonidas Fletcher HURT md. Elizabeth S. YOUNG and they were in Berry's Creek, Williamson County by 1868. Nearby lived Elizabeth's brother, Barnett Hardin YOUNG, and their father, Hugh Rogers YOUNG. Later, Fletcher and Elizabeth HURT lived near Corn Hill and their daughter, Lena Virginia HURT married Jesse S. WHITE and they are my grandparents. Another daughter, Lorena HURT, md. (1) JAMES, then (2) ALLISON. I have very little information on them, but think they lived in Granger, at least early on.
