David at the TSL sent me this announcement. IF YOU HAVE COPIER CARDS, USE THEM UP QUICK. The Genealogy Collection of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission is awaiting the arrival of new photocopiers. The anticipated delivery is in early July of 2000. As we all know, the old copiers have seen better days. The new machines will produce better copies with much less down time. They will, however, lack the copy card feature. With that thought in mind, no new copy cards will be sold and patrons are strongly encouraged to use up all the remaining value on their cards as soon as possible.
