    3. Besides the catholic church at Corn Hill and Zion Lutheran "around the corner" from Corn Hill, St. Peter Lutheran at the bottom of the hill toward Walburg was founded in 1889. Check with the Williamson County Genealogy Society about Corn Hill - it was a thriving community before the railroad was routed to the Jarrell area, if memory serves me correctly. There is a great book by Clara Stearns Scarbrough, Land of Good Water: A Williamson County History which deals with the small, sometimes no longer existing, towns and communities of the county. - Karen -----Original Message----- From: ARABON@aol.com [mailto:ARABON@aol.com] Sent: Thursday, October 12, 2000 10:42 PM To: TXWILLIA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [TXWILLIA] WILLIAMSON Co Churches Hello Lists, I was wondering if there is a list of churches that were open and active in 1877 into the 1880s for Williamson County ? I am trying to find where my grandparents attended church. Their name was William Robert and Sarah Van Long. They were listed in Corn Hill in 1880 census. Any help or thoughts on the subject would be appriciated. Thanks Bonnie ARABON@aol.com
