I know Round Rock's Baptist church existed then because my great-grandfather W.H. Ross preached there just before the turn of the century. Other Baptist churches he preached in before 1905 were New Hope in Leander, Blockhouse near Leander/Cedar Park. He also preached at Fitzhugh Baptist Church, but that may be in Travis County. First Baptist in Round Rock recently celebrated its history with videotapes of old-time members -- the church has history of the first Baptist preachers who came to Texas.
