I have just found an article printed in the Round Rock Leader in July, 1905, that mentions Col. Nelson Merrell, who owned the old rock house East of Round Rock on 71 or 79 (can't remember the hwy #) Let me know if there is anyone working on this family. Also, does anyone know who owns that property now. The last time I drove by it had been or was being renovated. Thanks. Jackie Morgan
