MORRIS - BEARD - MC KINSY Researching Elizabeth BEARD, daughter of William Carver Beard and Mary Jane MAY BEARD of Granger, Williamson Co., Texas. Elizabeth was born in 1858 in Williamson Co. According to a marriage license dated Jan. 24, 1881 an Elizabeth MC KINSY married Albert B. MORRIS. ( I believe this to be Elizabeth BEARD because family records show she was married to Albert Morris.) I do not know who Mr. MC KINSY was or what happened to him. Note: Elizabeth was living in Georgetown with her mother and sister on the 1880 Williamson Co., census in dwelling Pg. 429, #100. A.B. MORRIS was also listed in Georgetown on pg. 426, dwelling # 29 in the J. R. McCormic household. Albert B. MORRIS and Elizabeth BEARD (MC KINSY) MORRIS were the parents of three sons: William B. MORRIS, died before 1946; Elmer C. MORRIS, living in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1946; and Albert D. MORRIS, living in Dallas in 1946. I am trying to find out what happened to this family. I know that Elizabeth died in 1890, but not exact date or where or why. I have no further information on the family until the notations on her brother's will saying where the Morris sons were in 1946. Would like to hear from anyone with information on this family.
