Sharon, can you elaborate on the "private cemetery" status of Berry's Creek Cemetery? I have ancestors buried there, and have visited it on a number of occasions, As recently as last year, and never found it locked. There is even a well-maintained cemetery index board outside, and picnic tables. The posted sign lists officers and directors of the cemetery association, which makes it seem pretty public. Maybe I'm missing something, but I think the cemetery itself is not private, although You do have to cross a short distance of private land with a gate to access the cemetery, Sure hope I'm not a violator, but I have never found the gate locked.
