I have my suspicions, but maybe I am going the wrong direction. Here is what I have. I'd be curious to hear what others make of it. Mary DYCHES (who I assumed was Mary HENRY (possibly HENRY is her maiden name, but not proven) MAY (widow of James C. MAY, who died in 1861 and is buried in BEARD Cemetery in Granger, Texas) DYCHES (widow of Josiah DYCHES, who she married in about 1863 in Williamson Co., Texas) is listed in marriage records as marrying Joel W. HOBBS on Sept. 11, 1890 and she is listed as being 65 years old which would be about right. She had only one child: Tabitha A. MAY, who later married William DYCHES, son of Josiah DYCHES. Tabitha died many years later. The problem? I have come across a probate record for Mary DYCHES a couple of years BEFORE this marriage. Are there two different Mary DYCHES? Help.
