I ordered a passle of microfilm from various depositories a couple of years ago. It tooks many many months to get the film, and many many hours to go through the reels. However, as I live in Minnesota, and am researching my Texas ancestors, this was the only way to go for me. In 1949, a Negro woman died. She was over 100 years old and was born into slavery under the Gordons (Andrew Gordon of Williamson Co., Texas). She was later freed after the Civil War. I'm looking for the last will and testament written October 13, 1883 by Andrew Gordon. He died June 24, 1889 and is buried here in Williamson County. The will itself obviously would have been probated sometime after June 24, 1889 and it could have been in either Williamson County or Milam County, Texas. Can anyone help? Fred Gordon
