    3. Sorry about the Ray and Davis lines. I have gone through some of the book and didn't find anything. Maybe later. Will get a copy of the article though for you. And mail it This was fun. You really took care of several generations plus finding out where they came from. Look forward to hearing from you again. I love doing this for myself and for others. It is always neat. 3. Greetings, I am a descendant of James Hill Casey and Jane Turnbo Casey who came to Williamson Co. in 1851. I have the genealogy of this family listed on my websites at http://www.emmitt22.com/genealogy/casey.html and http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~caseytexas if anyone wants to look around. Thanks, and hope to hear from anyone also researching these folks, or offshoots. dlc

    3. What did I just say the census was, or did I. Samuel was listed on the 1860 census of Williamson Co., Texas. No Samuel Davis listed in the 1848 - 1888 Williamson Co., Marriages, but there is: S. S. Davis marrying A. J. Jones on July 26, 1871, Book 3 License 313. Let me know. 3. Bill, have you had any answers to this query? I am one who does research on the Williamson Co., list but I have never gotten a message on a DAVIS. So, tell me, when did Samuel DAVIS come to Williamson Co. There are several listings of DAVIS. I hope I can help you. Just found a Samuel DAVIS aged 34 Common Laborer from Virginia living in the household of Thomas DENSON and yes this is in the Granger area. No DAVIS children listed. Let me know.
