Hello all!! I'm new to the list and thought I'd "check in". I'm researching the McILHANEY (aka McELHANEY, aka McILHINEY) surname. My grandfather, Jesse Roland McILHANEY, was born in Tolbert on 12 April 1907. His father was John Richardson McILHANEY and his mother was Ollie Delilah UMBERSON. They moved from Tolbert to Lubbock in 1912. I'm willing to share info I have and I would appreciate hearing from anyone else who has info on this family.
