    3. Could it be Harrold, TX that you're looking for? The Handbook of Texas Online has a posting for it at: http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/cgi-bin/web_fetch_doc?dataset=tsha.dst&db=handboo k&doc_id=13305&query=Harrold The main search page is at: http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/search.html Tonya ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carrie Thomas-Dominguez" <carried@swbell.net> To: <TXWILBAR-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, June 22, 2000 11:20 PM Subject: Harrell, Tx. I just came back from a trip to Vernon/Wichita Falls..I was told that many of the ancestors gravesites that I am looking for are in Harrell, Tx. in a cemetery next to a Lutheran Church. I was also told that Harrell lies somewhere between Vernon and Wichita Falls. Is Harrell in Wilbarger Cty? Can anyone tell me the name of this cemetery? I am looking for the graves of Walbricks, Schumann's and Smith's. I have to say that I had a wonderful time while there and met many new relatives from all over the country at this new(for me) reunion. But, dummy me didn't bother to pick up a map while I was there and I sure could have used a few more days! I shall return! I would love to know if there was a write up in the Vernon newspaper about the Schumann/Walbrick reunion....if so I would love to have a copy of it! Can anyone help? 3. The Wilbarger County Historical Society is indexing the cemeteries of Wilbarger County. As soon as the Eastview Cemetery is finished, a book will be published. Whether it will be put on line, I do not know at this time, but they will make an announcement. Most of Eastview is done, but they are double checking plots and headstones because one of the previous helpers was dyslexic and reversed quite a few numbers. Charles you might contact them before you start, most of it is done. Posted on: Wilbarger County, Tx Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Wilbarger?read=327 Surname: Smith, Murry, Roberson, Castlebury ------------------------- Everett Lorenzo Smith, my father, arrived in Wilbarger County Texas in about 1903. His father Andrew Jackson Smith and his mother Lida Murry Smith arrived in about 1905 from Maries County Missouri. They had 8 daughters and another son, Claude who also moved to the Vernon area (Doans Crossing, I think). I don't think there is relationship to Lewis Smith.
