Posted on: Wilbarger County, Tx Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Wilbarger?read=340 Surname: ------------------------- Judy, I know Kent, I use to visit my grandparents there at Odell, and pretty well knew all the kids that went to school there, in that time period. I use to date Tommy Thrash and Monty Kester. I am Beverly (Newton)Messer's cousin. Did you all go to the school reunion in Vernon yesterday? My Mom went, she was Mary Lee Newton Pedigo. I have lots of information on the Jackson's, first you need to tell me about your Jackson line where I can see if they may fit in. My grandmother Elizabeth Lee (Jackson) Newton had a brother William who lived in Vernon and died there. I really don't think there is a connection there, because granny would have mentioned it. But you never know. So nice to hear from Odell people. I use to love to come to Odell, I have such wonderful memories there. Be looking forward to hearing from you. I ran around with Beverly Newton, Beth Ann Kester, Sharon Shelton, Gail Davis, Jane and Barbara Turner and Sandy Johnston. I didn't know Kent like I did Max and Monty Kester, Tommy Thrash, the Star's and others I forget their names. Do have one of the school annuals. Gay (Pedigo) Nix
