Surnames: McFall, Little Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/RAC.2ACI/1599 Message Board Post: published Corpus Christi Caller Times 04/27/2006 no relationship to individuals. posted for genealogical purposes only Julian McFall, Jr. born September 12, 1922 in Wichita Falls, Texas passed away April 24, 2006 after a lengthy stay in Alameda Oaks and Lynnhaven Nursing Homes. Julian graduated from Wichita Falls High and attended Texas A&M until his enlistment in the Air Force in 1942 during WWII. He was a bombardier and navigator on a B-24 in the South Pacific until his discharge. After the war, he worked in Wichita Falls for Burcamp Steel Company as a salesman and estimator for many years. He was very active in wildlife conservation organizations such as the Northwest Texas Field and Stream Association and Sportmans Clubs of Texas, a business development organization "The Mavericks" and as president of the Rider High School Booster Club in 1966 and 1967. He loved hunting, fishing and was very much a student of the "Ol West." In his later years, he worked as an Independent Petroleum Landman. He was preceded in death by his father, Julian Sr. and his mother, Ivy Little McFall. He is survived by his son, John McFall of Corpus Christi, Texas, and daughter Judith McFall Gideon of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Marion (David) Arnspiger and Lou Del (Paul) McFall both of Houston, Texas; brother, William (Janice) McFall of Weatherford, Texas; three grandchildren: Jennifer Gideon, Geoffrey Gideon and Meredith McFall. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home.
