Hi Scott, Gaston David SCOTT died in Wichita County on 21 Oct 1929, file #51574. (The only other Gaston SCOTT in the 1903-1940 TX Death Records died in Galveston County in 1937.) You can get a certified copy of Gaston's death certificates from the Texas Department of State Health Services. (Vital Statistics Forms: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/vs/reqproc/forms.shtm) Or you can go to the Dallas Public Library and make a photocopy of it for 25 cents. Or you might find someone in Dallas who will go to the DPL and make a photocopy for you. (I'm not in Dallas.) For his obituary, contact the public library where he was living. For instance, the Amarillo Public Library.
