Holzer, 65, of Wichita Falls, died Thursday, March 19, 1998. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hampton Vaughn Crestview Chapel with the Rev. Larry Brownfield, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Holzer was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Wichita Falls. He and Jean Rudolph were married Oct. 18, 1953. She died in November 1988. He and Barbara Wallace were married May 26, 1990. He attended Wichita Falls High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Marine Corps from 1950-53. He retired from Certain-Teed as a supervisor after 17 years. He boxed in the Golden Gloves Tournament for three years and was a member of Faith Baptist Church and Healthy Hearts Association. He was a lifetime member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. He had lived in Wichita Falls since 1973. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Linda Riley of Wichita Falls; two stepdaughters, Shelley Daily of Graham, Texas, and Janie Spain of Wichita Falls, a stepson, Scott Wallace of Breckenridge, Texas; his mother, Pauline Grider of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Jerry and Gerald, both of Wichita Falls, and Delbert of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Pauline Horn of Fort Worth, Barbara Bunch of Wichita Falls and Sandra Kline of Phoenix; two grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Faith Baptist Bus Ministry Fund, 3001 Southwest Parkway, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.
