Bismark did have a post office - here are the names of all the postmasters and the dates served: 1. James M. West was the first postmaster beginning 4 November 1892 2. James H. Parker, took over his duties on 4 September 1893 3. Thomas M. Miller then became the next postmaster in 19 October 1894 4. James A. Lacy was the last postmaster beginning 15 October 1895 5. The Bismark Post Office was discontinued on 16 September 1899 and all mail came from Wichita Falls, Texas after that. [Source: US Federal Post Office records, Washington, DC]
