Texas began recording births and deaths in 1903. But not all counties consistantly reported all births and deaths to the state until the 1930s. So the state may not have his death certificate. All deaths from 1903 to 1940 are indexed together. I checked all 33 pages of ROSS deaths and only found 4 who died in Sep 1919. None were named Whit ROSS. None of them died in Wichita County.
