We came to Wichita Falls just to locate my gr-grandfather's grave. His death certificate states burial in Riverside and the obit we found in the newspaper there states he was to be buried at Riverside. The people at the cemetery do not have him listed as being buried there, died August 24, 1915. We stayed 2 days and nights, but went home in a very somber mood. I guess I will never know where he is. He has a granddaughter that was buried in 1910 there and she is not listed as being buried there either. My question. As you are doing your census of each section, is it recorded as a person buried in a space, but no name of who it is? The people at the cemetery found a gr-gr-aunt of mine who was buried there and she did not have a stone. Her name was recorded as the person in that space. All of the surrounding spaces was filled with known relatives some of which had stones, and some who did not including her husband. The gr-grandfather I am looking for is her daddy! If I knew the spaces in the cemetery that had a notation that bodies were buried there, but not known who they were, I might be able to accertain that my gr-grandfather was one of them. I could maybe conclude that it was him by finding out who the people were buried surrounding the unknown person. He may be buried beside other relatives. We may could uncover some of these unknown by the people that surround them. I know it would never be known for sure, but it would be better than nothing at all! Thanks, Dale
