    1. Wichita Falls in 1890
    2. Thought everyone would like to see a view of Wichita Falls in the 1890's. Especially those of you who are transcribing the early newspapers. I am finding a lot of obituaries that state "he lived on the corner of Ninth and Ohio, etc. and I thought that this was strange until I saw the photo at the link below. There was NO downtown back then. They were all homes in what we now know as downtown. Be sure to use the "Plus" sign at the bottom of the photo. It will enlarge it so you can see every detail of the picture!
