The person I am looking for in Wichita county is Jesse Kavanaugh Taylor b. 28 Jun 1844 d. 1915 in Wichita Falls TX . I believe he may have lived in Iowa Park TX because of the note in a book. On the first pages in order it is written in pencil: AI taylor from, D Harmon from, JK Taylor, Iowa Park Tex and in ink. From Thomas Jefferson Taylor Father of JK Taylor. So sorry for the mix-up. The Roberson family I am looking for is from AL, and before that TN I think. Mary Virginia Roberson Cloud's father was James Absalom/Absolom Roberson, her mother was Anna Helen Taylor Roberson. Alvin C. James, Sr. died August 14 Aug. 1975. He was buried as of 16 Aug. 1975. Lena Ve (Austin) James died 2 Mar. 1997. She was buried I believe 5 Mar. 1997. I'm not sure of the burial date. WARREN (birthdate unknown) on 22 Dec 1958 at Lawton, Comanche Co, Oklahoma. I am looking for their two children, a daughter Cheryl Ann SHAVER born 26 July 1959 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Daton, Green Co. Ohio and a son, James Edward SHAVER II born 27 Oct 1960 at Forbes Air Force Base, Topeka, Shawnee Co Kansas. Julia "Judy" C. WARREN was from Wichita Falls, Wichita Co Texas and it is unknown if she may still have family there. I don't know the year or place, but my uncle's wife left him, disappearing with their children. He finally filed for divorce well over a year after their disappearance. He remarried in 1966. I was told my uncle searched for years for his children, even hiring a detective at one time. Once the internet became such an available source, my late aunt tried searching also. All of this took place before social security numbers were required at birth.
