Does anyone know of a newspaper that existed in 1865 in Washington or Austin County. I would like to find an obit for someone that died 12/1864-1/1865. If anyone can help me I would like to hear from you. Thanks Beth Meriwether

If you check on the GNIS website, you can find the cemeteries you are looking for, on a map with latitude and longitude. Hello everyone, I'm new to this list. Are there any Vitek researchers here? Looking for relatives of Thomas & Anna (Pechal) Vitek who move to Washington Co in 1888. They had 5 children. Thomas' brother Martin and Jan (John) Vitek who lived in Taylor & Granger, TX, Wiliamson Co, TX and I believe all three were brothers to Joseph Vitek, Sr, my gg grandfather who lived in nearby Falls Co, TX. Joseph Vitek lived in Wesley for 3 years before settling in Rosebud, Falls Co. Would appreciate any info. I have alot to share.
