Consider this an infomercial. First thing is a webpage I fully enjoy, and it has a little shareware program on offer. It's called WebShots. Go to http://www.webshots.com and download the little program. It comes with a lot of screensavers that show across your screen when you are idle at it, but what I love about it, is you can import by clicking on the pictures panel (you'll see it after you install it) with your right mouse button, and import in any of your scanned photos you have stored on your machine. It then gives you a display of your own family shots, plus those others of whatever your pleasure is. Has travel, whitewater, nature, flowers, etc. Those are okay, and pretty, but I love to walk in and see my screen showing my grandmother and grandfather spread across the screen. And, it rotates through all your pictures, so you'll see first one then another, husbands, kids, grandkids, pets, whatever you scan and save there. Well, that's the first thing I wanted to share with you. WebShots, nice program. Second thing is, just recently there were a lot of warnings about Virus called Happy99, I think it is. I don't much like to pass those warnings along, because all of the information is available online about the various viruses. This week a friend told me she'd been expecting a birthday card, and thought that was one when she saw it. When it opened, of course it wiped out the computer memory, so they have had to start gathering again. You can sure lose a lot that way. So, this is a note to you all, don't fall for that HAPPY anything! Just delete if you see that word on your title bar. If you never click on it and open it, it can't affect your machine at all. A good virus checker ought to catch it, but they had not installed one yet. Well, a word to the wise... is all I meant to pass along. Just especially watch for funny stuff you don't recognize the sender of. Try to stay atop what virus is going around by looking at the info pages once in awhile. I wish had mentioned it earlier, but I though most of you would already know about it. If I had, my friend wouldn't have lost her material. This is a shutting the barn door after the horse is out' message. bj
