Just received this request from Gary Smith. I wonder if one of you can possibly help him? .........Cynthia Buttram I recently visited the Victoria County Genealogy site on the internet and came across an individual that I'm anxious to gain information about. The name is Felix B. Webb, or actually Doctor Felix B. Webb. Doctor Webb was in the county in the 1840's and 1850's. He was evidently active in local politics, participating on city council as well as Mayor in 1850. I know that his wife's name was Catherine. My interest stems from my genealogy research in which I have found that Dr. Webb treated my great, great, great grandfather(Theodore Noelke) , as well as his two sons (Ferdinand & Clement) in 1846. When Theodore and Clement died in August, 1846, Doctor Webb took in my great, great grandfather (Ferdinand Noelke - age 6yrs) and along with Catherine actually raised him to early manhood. I would like to know if you are aware of any additional information regarding Doctor Webb, and or his wife Catherine. Having been active in the community I wandered if there are any known photographs of him. Would appreciate a reply. Thank you, W. Gary Smith (281) 986-6064 FAX (281) 986-6717 gary.smith@fina.com
