Another one from the April 2000 Memorandum: A Windows version of the FHLibrary Catalog is expected by April of this year. It will be on compact disc and operate with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. This version of the Family History Library Catalog is similar to the Internet version but provides additional search capabilities. It will be sent free of charge to all US and Canada Family History Centers as soon as it is available. The compact disc can ALSO be purchased for home use.
