Today would be a great day for going back to the Bureau of Land Management Records and rechecking for land records. They've not only given it a New Look, they've got a lot of states for you to check on, and if you don't know exactly which one you want to look at, be sure to move your cursor to the bottom of the list and select ALL STATES. Might catch one that way. It also offers the use of wildcards to help with name spelling. From page below listed, move to Search Records, or whatever that said.. bj PS, there's a note there that they don't have the original thirteen colonies, and they don't have metes and bounds states, like KY and WVA. All those Midwest, south, west and even Alaska are now on it. Sure wish they could do those states they've not been able to put on for us, though. I know, don't look a Gift Horse in the mouth!
