This was on a Ross Co., OH list I subscribe to, and It's a really good idea. I use fast film, but never thought using of a mirror. We'll have to check the next yard sale for a tombstone-mirror. Bj, listmanager "I have noticed on several of the list I and my wife subscribe to request for pictures taken of tombstones around the country. Here are a couple of tips I have learned that will insure a decent result. Hold camera at same level of stone. Place mirror on the ground in front of the stone to reflect light up onto the stone. Use a 400 speed film or better. Use these tips and your trip will not be wasted and you will be able to read the inscriptions on the stones in the pictures. Works on weathered stones as well as new ones. Happy headstone hunting. Robert (Gill)"
