If you look at the Tax lists, notice that the transcriptions for the letter "s" in names has been read as "f", the proper alphabetic letter for an "s" back then, i.e., Perfons (Persons) I especially liked the link off it leading to PA online resources, Bridgette's Page, think it was. Nice one for GA tax list information, and for actual names on CT/NJ tax records.
