Dorothy, Thanks so much for the correct name, Norma Rutledge Grammer. I got this from a typographically- challenged genealogist; however, it was all I had! My problem is that this man's name was Robert Henry Hill according to a letter written by my g/g/g/aunt who knew his family well. [3 of her sisters married his 3 sons.] The book says Robert C. Hill. If I can find the originals, maybe I can find the "error". If it was not a misreading of the original, it may have been a "minor" typo that wasn't caught by the proofreader. Robert Hill was an itinerant minister, believed to be Methodist. If so, he and Agnes were probably married by a Methodist minister. The Methodist church in Victoria was established the same year they were married, so I have hope that the originals are there. Since I am in VA, I am hoping someone will be able to tell me where these particular records are. Thanks again, grace
