Hi, Listfriends, Doesn't anyone on this list want to post their questions on their Victoria families? There must be some of you waiting to see something posted here on YOUR family lines, and I know for a fact one person was waiting, just last week. Seeing none posted, he left in a huff, ...but, he had not posted his OWN queries, he was just out in cyberspace waiting on someone to do it for him, give him all the answers. He did give me his viewpoint of our forum, and it was not complimentary, but, he had a valid point. ( see further.) Well, most of our Victoria genealogists will try to help you, by privately answering, when questions comes across. BUT, I wish they would post ALL discussion of Victoria, questions or answers, on this forum, because, Roots does archive them and make them available for search way long after they were discussed. We do our Victoria Family searchers a disservice by not posting to TXVICTOR-L@rootsweb.com, because new people can't find any answers made previously. All they see is a "Billye D. Jackson" website, the person told me, and he was just about right. I do post a lot of url's, both found or sent me, but we need to initiate a VIctoria discussion here, it's what the space is actually for. He mentioned that the "last twenty postings had been just websites by Billye D. Jackson", and I'm sure he's dead right (make that 21 now)! We can post those good sites, I like them myself, but let's fluff out our material on Victoria with family talk, too. That said, I hope you Victorian's, or connected Victorian's living at a distance will just Ask Your Question, here! Help others, we will still continue to post url's helpful to genealogy in general, but we need Victoria. Let's try More Victoria Talk this new year? Please help us do that? bj, listmanager Marilyn Logan sent along one, and the other I found. Nice sites, both of them. So, for your research pleasure, ...while we wait for Victoria Questions, try these! bj http://genealogy.bb.prodigy.net/ http://www.stategensites.com/
