    3. Good Morning Tyler County Rooters and Welcome to the List, I'm pleased to announce that as of midnight last night we had 14 members signed up. I would like to ask each of you to send me an email with your full name, email address (or) addresses if you have more than one. If you would like to have me add your full name, address, telephone, fax number, etc. to a off-line database so that if we lose track of you because of ISP changes, leaving the list, etc. I would be pleased to have those also. I want to thank K.C. Hale for letting us know about the possible Tyler Co. Genealogical Society starting. I think it would be wonderful. K.C., if you would keep the list informed as to the status of that effort, I know the whole list would appreciate it. Let the list know what we might do to help. I need everyone's help with suggestions, comments, etc. for this list and the Tyler County TxGenWeb Project as a whole. I am also looking for a couple of people with html experience and some time on your hands to help with the Tyler County Page as assistant County Coordinators. Trying to handle 8 counties and this list is more than a full time job. I've got several projects in mind for Tyler County and I can't find the time to do all the typing. I've started on a 1850 "working" census (like I did for Newton County) but I'm not getting very far. I also have some marriage records (post 1900) that Frances Pennington, Jackie Barnes, and myself transcribed several years ago. It appears that most of my mail problems have finally cleared up since MSN replaced their servers. They had been having problems with the one that handled members with last names starting with "B/C/D/T/Z" for some time. (I knew I should have married Jimmy Jones <G>). If you have sent surnames that aren't posted yet, I might not have received them, so please send again. Well, I've rattled long enough this morning. I do thank all of you again for your support for this list and the Tyler County TxGenWeb Project. Happy Hunting, Barbara Yancey Dore (aka) [email protected] ------------------------------
