I thought I'd post an interesting tidbit to a couple of mailing lists about the first wife of Abner Belcher COLLIER as well as ask some questions: BIRTH: Serena Melvina DAVIS, daughter of William DAVIS and Francis Adline HEATHCOCK/HITHCOX was born 20 June1875 - per Davis Bible page. MARRIAGE: Serena Melvina DAVIS m. Abner Belcher COLLIER, 2 Nov 1890 in Tyler Co, TX (see Barbara's webpage http://members.aol.com/RootsLady/collier/coll_9.htm ) DEATH: I only have an "oral history" note on the bottom of a family group worksheet has that she died of a "snake bite in 1897". (Information not confirmed) QUESTION: Does anyone know *when* and *where* she died, and *where* she's buried? Since Abner COLLIER m2 on 26 Jan 1897 to Abbie M. RALPH, Jasper Co.
