The entire 1880 census is available online through familysearch.org and is indexed by everyname. It is very easy to use. -----Original Message----- Date: Fri 11/08/02 3:12 PM From: michelleh@ev1.net <TXTYLER-L@rootsweb.com> To: TXTYLER-L@rootsweb.com CC: Subject: [TXTYLER-L] 1880 Tyler County Census Lookup? Thank you for the information- I don't know why, but I had no idea. In any case, I did the lookup on LDS, I was only a little dissappointed that the children are not listed with the family, they had to be looked up seperately (unless I'm doing something wrong) but that is okay because what I was really looking for was the birthplace for Susan A. "unknown maiden" Davis's parents. Although it does list occupation..and I found that JW (still don't know his full name) Davis was a cabinet maker. Thanks everyone for pointing this out to me, now I will put it to good use! ******While I'm at it, I was wondering does anyone here have any BOSTICKs in their family that traveled from Early or Twiggs County, Georgia to Tyler County, Texas, I'm desprately trying to discover the maiden name of Susan A. "unknown" who married WT HOLLAND and then JW DAVIS.
