    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: HOLLAND, BURNAMAN, LAYTON, BEARD, ROBERTS... Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DAC.2ACI/664.1 Message Board Post: This might just be a shot in the dark, but do you think she may have been Grandma Beard? I have a lot of Beard relatives, they originally settled in San Augustine Co, Texas but the family spread out in East Texas over time. My gg-grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Beard (maiden name) eventually made her way to Nacogdoches Co, Etoile, Texas where she was buried. I looked through my genealogy records but didn't find any Lindseys or Means, but I did find a Glenn Walters that seems to be related to my Layton side. Good luck, Michelle

    3. Hi Michelle, I have been thinking the same thing, that Beard just might be her real name. I know that one of my Great Great Grandfather's (John Lowrey Farr) daughters married a Beard. I just am not sure which one. I know the family lived in San Augustine and Nacogdoches Counties.
