Mr. Armistead, What a small world! Yes, all us Jasper County Pickles are one big happy family. Tinks Pickle was my dad's (Seborn) youngest brother. (I'm copying this email to his kids who will be thrilled to know we've made contact, I'm sure!) We really miss Uncle Tinks and Aunt Vada, but are very close to their four children and their families. All us Pickle cousins are pretty thick, even though we don't get to see each other as often as we like. I'm continuously amazed at what family searching brings forth, especially on the internet. I've met some very special people who I would never have been in touch with had we not done family history searching!! About your Rawls family, I asked my brother-in-law, Delton Parker, who was raised in the Harrisburg community where Ralph and Velma Rawls lived and he thought it would be okay for me to tell you to contact their daughter, Jeanette Rawls Carlton, who lives in Colmesniel, TX. Do you know Jeanette? She's a sweet lady and a good friend of my brother and sister. I don't know her phone number, but I'm sure it's in information for Colmesneil or Woodville. I believe that would be area code 409. Got to go, but please keep in touch and let me know how your Rawls research progresses. Nan Pickle
