(WT) HOLLAND shows up, for the first time, on the 1854 Tyler County Tax records. I'm not really sure, but I am guessing that my William may have came from Twiggs County or Early County. I haven't proven any connections but I'm looking into a Daniel and Mary HOLLAND in Twiggs County as his possible parents. William was married to a Susan A. "unknown" but I haven't been able to find any marriage record, nor have I found William on an 1860 census. There is a Susan BOSTICK living somewhat nearby William HOLLAND of Twiggs County that would have been the right age. I've often wondered if maybe that isn't them and that they settled somewhere in East of Tyler County or in LA before coming on in to Texas. William died in 1866, at home, and James T. COLLIER was one of the appraisers of William's probate in 1866. Do you think he may have been on this wagon train? Michelle Holland
