    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DAC.2ACI/29.39.98.1 Message Board Post: Donna, I have the Descendents of Joseph R Laird and his wife Edith Durdin where his first born son is Archibald b1843 in Tyler Co TX, Joseph Ray Laird b 1863 Tyler Co. there is a total of 8 children for this family including a Robert Laird b 1848 but we have him dead before 1860. Does this family belong to you? If so, I have about 7or 8 pages of history including a very early Robert Laird that served in the Revolutionary War and was awarded a pension by special provision of the State of Ga in Clarke County. I know that the Laird's repeated the given names many times and it is confusing without dates and places. Ken Williams

    3. Thanks for writing, Ken. I suspect that Joseph R., Archibald, Robert, and probably Jefferson, even maybe Jessie were somehow related, possibly even brothers. All were in early Jasper and Tyler Counties. I would like very much to share information.
