If you haven't done so previously, you might check out this website. It appears to be a one-name study website for Rawls & variants. http://members.aol.com/rrrawls/rawlsgen.htm There is also a Rawls cemetery north of Town Bluff. It's way out in the boonies. The roads aren't named, so it may be hard to find. It you look about 1/2 way between Jasper and Colmsneil you will find it about a mile from the Meches River. There is a Farrell Cemetery about 1/2 mile west so don't get confused. There is a community of Rawls Springs near where I live in MS. The founder of the community Benjamin Rawls settled here about 1816 in the vicinity of several mineral springs. His descendant Benjamin Franklin Rawls bought the land where the springs were located in 1890 and around them the community of Rawls Springs grew up. Gene At 03:11 PM 12/16/01 -0600, Sam E.
