My McAlister ancestors were born in Franklin Co. TN, moved to Alabama in the early 1840's and then to TX around 1848. My grandmother Emily McAlister married William A. Harrison in Tyler Co. TX in 1891. My Harrison line started in NC in 1769 with Jeremiah, moved to GA, then MS, then to TX in 1854. Regards William A. Harrison
