    3. Ken, thanks for the names. I don't see anyone I ever heard of before, so I guess there's no need to pursue it. My Chambliss line originated with Jesse in Sumter county GA and they scattered from there after the war (1860's and later). Melissa Chambliss married Wiley G. W. Parker and were my Dad's mother's parents. They did live in Tyler in the 1875-95 time frame, but I don't know that any of Melissa's kin came with them.
