    2. Ralph and Velma(?) Rawls lived in the Harrisburg community about 10 miles NE of Jasper. He could have been from Town Bluff. I'm not sure if this is the Ralph Rawls, but my brother-in-law grew up in the same community and knew these Rawls very well. I will take your email to him this weekend to see if he can help.     3. That is right Ralph Rawls was the son of Seburn Rawls. My wife was Carolyn Wilson. Auntie Zada Hicks raised her mother.     3. Newman Gary was born in SC 1826-28. He had a sister, Susan E. He and his sister were orphans in Tallapoosa Co. Al. They were raised by a minister, Ben Mott. Susan Gary married W. C. Smith and died in Elmore Co. Al. Newman Gary moved to Tyler Texas and was an attorney there. Would like to locate descendants of said Gary to correspond and compare genealogical information. Anne G.     2. I have some information on RAWLS in Tyler Co. I really have not been concentrating on this sirname, but eventually I will. I have an Elizabeth RAWLS. I am currently working away from my research materials so I will have to contact you at a later date. I do know, there are many RAWLS listed in Tyler Co. Census and marriage index, also Cemeteries. Books are available from Tyler Co. Historical and Genealogical Society. Check out there TXGenWeb site, Tyler Co. I do believe I remember seeing a Seborn RAWLS in one of their publications. Sincerely.
