They are Africian American. Essie May Grim shown on the 1930 census as the granddaughter of Prince Debose. She died about 1940. Tom and Sallie Deason and their children. Eddie W. Calvin shown as the grandson of Joe Smith. If anyone is doing research or has information on these families I would love to hear from you. Some are buried in the Josserand cemetery and the Parker Ridge cemetery.
