Cemeteries, Caroline Griffith is buried at Trinity Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity, TX. Born 27 Aug 1822 and died 27 Jul 1884. Tombstone says she was the wife of S.M. Griffith. She is the only Griffith shown as being buried in this county. They appear in the 1880 Trinity Co., TX census as follows: Urial Griffith 36wm MO Anna: wife 35wf MO Arthur son 9m MS Stella dau 4f MS There is also a Mary Griffith, 14f, TX that appears in Trinity Co., living with her uncle Thomas Dwire, 44, VA. Also, per Trinity Co. Beginnings, there was a U.A. Griffith that was a teacher at the Community School 3 in 1886 located at Riverside. That's all I was able to find. Good luck with your search!
