Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VlB.2ACE/919.3.1 Message Board Post: Thanks for responding. I was able to visit the Glenwood cemetery last summer. It was a wonderful experience. Found relatives I didn't expect to find. I am looking for the senior Dr. Gary who died in 1868. He was nowhere to be found. In the library I found a letter written to his wife's father expressing sorrow at hearing about his death, but nothing hinting at how he died or where he was buried. I hope to return there next spring and spend the day pouring through the documents. If you come across anything new please let me know. Thanks so much.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VlB.2ACE/929.2 Message Board Post: This post is directed to Earl Smiley who posted a note on the Shipman-Gibson family from Trinity County, TX. I saw his post on Ancestry regarding some relatives in Trinity, TX. The name Missouri Frances Arnold caught my eye as we have relatives from Trinity, TX Elisha Arnold and Martha Stubbefield had about ten children. Some were born in Choctaw, Mississippi and some in Rusk Co. TX. I don't know when they moved to Trinity Co. TX, but they are buried there. Their oldest son, Jonathan Hewitt Arnold, is the one that I have researched for many years because he was my husbands direct line of Arnold's. He had a sister named Missouri Arnold and I was wondering if your Missouri Frances Arnold might be his sister. I have nothing more about her. Elisha and Martha and many others in this Arnold family are buried at Glendale Cemetery near Trinity. Do you know the parents of Missouri Frances Arnold? I have never tried to find descendants of any of the other children of Elisha Arnold and Martha Stubbefield, but here is the list of names given to me by my mother in law. Jonathan Hewitt Arnold born 1835 Choctaw Co. MS Thomas Arnold Margaret Arnold Sarah Arnold Martha Arnold Mary Ann Arnold born 1849 Rusk Co. TX Alice Arnold Russell Arnold Missouri Arnold Pickney Arnold If any of these names sound familiar, I can send what I have on the Arnold family. I noticed that you have Gibson's listed. We are kin to Tabitha Ann Gibson born 1844 in Walker Co. TX. She married LeRoy Burke in 1863 in Walker Co. TX. Their son, Samuel M. Burke, is my husband's grandfather. Some of the Burkes also lived at Bedias, TX near Madisonville. Parents of Tabitha Ann Gibson are Anthony Palmer Gibson and Catherine Greene both from Montgomery Co. TX. Mildred Burke Spencer Houston, TX
