Albert Nichols served as a jailor for the Travis Co. Sheriff's Department in the latter 1800's. This is perhaps where the interest in law enforcement began. You have provided me with a good many leads to run down and I am most appreciative. My desire is to find at least one descendant from this family line who is interested in family research.
